Favorite Things to Buy At Costco

I’ve talked before about Costco. It’s a great place to stock up on grocery items that you use frequently or to save money on grocery shopping. Gotta love those bulk items! I’ve compiled a list of my favorite things to buy at Costco for y’all today.

I’m a picky eater, and I only need to feed myself and my boyfriend. We’re just a two person household, so Costco trips go a long way. Our list of favorite things to buy at Costco may differ, but the fact remains that it’s a good place to stock up on all your favorite treats. My list of favorite things to buy comes in two parts: I like to save money by buying in bulk, and I like to have a LOT of the things that I like.

Soda Water

In large part, I only drink water and coffee. While there’s nothing wrong with tap water, sometimes I like to get crazy and drink soda water. It’s a nice way to mix up my routine and still stay hydrated. It’s the little things, you know?

I buy Topo Chico at my Costco. You can get a 24 pack of bottles, which lasts me for about two months.

Cereal

I eat cereal every morning. It’s fast, it’s easy, and it’s delicious. Let me tell you, you can stock up on cereal big time at Costco. It’s a beautiful thing. Cereal is one of my favorite things to buy at Costco because my boyfriend also eats cereal for breakfast every day. It’s a deal

Cereal is one of my favorite things to buy at Costco because my boyfriend also eats cereal for breakfast every day. It’s a financial deal for our household to buy in bulk. Plus, we both really love cereal.

Sweet Potatoes

Sweet potatoes are a frugal person’s dream. They last a long time, they’re nutritious, they go with a million things, and they are cheap. You can snag a five-pound bag which is definitely one of my favorite things to buy at Costco. I eat my sweet potatoes baked and mashed most frequently, and I eat them with dinner at least three times a week. At roughly $6 a bag, you can’t go wrong with these bad boys.

Baby Carrots

Carrots and hummus are my go to lunch these days. I just can’t get enough. At Costco, you can pick up a five-pound bag of organic baby carrots for less than $6. Talk about a steal! When you’re eating carrots for lunch five days a week, five pounds is just the right amount.

Another thing I like about Costco is their strong return policy – you have pretty much 90 days to do returns.  Costco also takes back pretty much anything within reason.

Costco is definitely the place to stock up on your favorite foods. What are your favorite things to buy at Costco?
