Humans are social beings and our social lives are becoming fully digitized now. Everyone is accessible, even the big celebrities. 

Fans are pursuing retweets on Twitter instead of standing in line for an autograph. This in turn, is proving to be a huge bonanza for businesses. As we communicate everything online, advertising companies are able to get their hands on a goldmine of data to target their ads.
