Posted on December 28, 2016December 30, 2016by Kara

Short-term loaning companies have recently been under great scrutiny. While there have been some companies that have taken unfair advantage of their customers by providing loans that they knew that the applicant would be unable to pay back while charging outrageous interest rates and penalties, this fact does not apply to every short-term lending agency […]

Have Conversations About Your Financial Fears

Posted on December 21, 2016February 5, 2017by Kara

I was out recently when a bartender and I struck up a conversation about investing. Posted on November 16, 2016March 27, 2017by Kara

At the beginning of November, a friend and I sat down together and pledged to give the Whole30 food plan a shot. We both wanted to eat more consciously, and consume fewer carbs and less sugar. Whole30, with its focus on vegetables and stringent rejection of carbs, sugar, alcohol and processed foods, seemed to be […]

What To Do When Everything Is The Worst

Posted on November 9, 2016March 27, 2017by Kara

Trump got elected. We all woke up today and realized that a year of fear mongering and bigoted speeches worked. American politics took a turn that I never thought possible. To everyone who finds their way here I say this: today is a sad day for the United States. For possibly the first time in […]
